My 90 gal. is well on its way, it 5 months old now. I have the following live stock:
    3 Percula Clowns
    1 Lawnmower Blenny
    3 Emerld Crabs
    10 Blue Leg Hermits
    6 Turbo snails
    1 Pepperment Shrimp

I ordered from John @ Reef Clearners the following and they should arrive the 16th.
    50 Dwarf Cerith
    25 Florida Cerith
    9 Nassarius Vibex
    10 Nerite Snails
    5 Red Mangroves
    1 Chaeto

My h2o perms are, Temp. 80, Amno. 0, Nrites 0. Nrates 0, SG. 1.024, PH.7.8, Thats all I test for so far.

Here is my question, I have a refug 20 gal. L, w/EV 120 skimmer, I am getting some type of algea in the whole refug. whichs includes the skimmer and return portions. I thought when I first saw it that it small baby snails on the glass. I reached in and it is slimmy and soft like a white/tanish peice of cotton. It is on the glass and the bottom, it is also between the baffles. Out of all the items I am getting from John or at my LFS came I put some CUC in the refug and the skimmer and return?? I know the the Chaeto and Mangroves go in the refug, but i'm asking about the snails and such. And will they clean this up? Thanks

"white/tanish peice of cotton" sounds like pineapple sponges. Google pineapple sponges and see if it looks like what you have. If so, don't worry. They are benficial.

It doesn't look like pineapple sponges. I wish I could get a pic of it.
