    i just got a nem from country max. its really big so they gave me the rock it was atached to. my ? is whats the best way to make sure i dont have any hitchhickers that i dont want in my tank?

    I'm assuming a QT wouldn't hurt. I don't really know too much about nems unfortunately, but I would assume that all the regular precautions you would take with any other piece of live rock is a good place to start.

    is qtin the only thing i can do since i cant get the nem out of the rock?

    Make up a large enough coral dip. My Seachem dip is Anemone safe. I've used it on all my corals and my nem.

    i would need about 1/2 a gallon of dip for the entire rock
