New anenome pic and ???

Hi, just got my first BTA and it has seemed to find a spot it likes. I was told to feed it some Krill about 2 times a month. So before i left for a movie i fed it a chunk and I ate it all. When I got back I checked on him and it was still gone. Then about 10 mins later it started to spit it back out. Is this normal. Eventually he spit it all out. Also, is this what you feed them. I am reading more on the internet and I am seeing all sorts of different answers. On said to feed it mysis shrip and pacific plankton every 4 or 5 days. What do I believe? I have used frozen krill or chunks of raw shrimp. If your BTA is brand new it is still acclimating. Expelling its stomach contents is not totally uncommon. It takes some time for it to replace the old water from the LFS or whever you bought it with your tank water. When did you put it in your tank?

 

when u say raw shrimp u mean like the stuff u can get at the market?

Thanks, he is brand new. I figured the LFS might not have fed it for a while so I gave it some. Looks like I'll let it just sit for a while. So shrimp is good too? Good to know, I wan't to give it more than just one type of food. how often should it be fed? I want to see some growth and maybe split down the road. Thanks for the help.

I would feed it 2 or 3 times per week.
