Alright guys im looking for some help from people a little more experienced then myself, Currently i have an ocean 57 gal rimless, and about 60-70 lbs of live rock, i loved the way it was set up previously but am not liking it all that much anymore, so here is my first question, if i move my rock around can i cause anything in my water parameters to sky rocket, and possibly harm my fish, and corals?? and lastly i would like to move stuff around, and would like some advice on how i should aqua scape my tank, i know its not your tank but suggestions would be amazing at this point!! here is my tank currently!
as soon as i get a better picture during the day i will get one tomorrow! Thanks for the help!! (In Advanced)

i think the rocks look good the way they are. i would just try to hide the return lines ( loc lines) with new rock or corals that will grow to cover it. maybe a hammer leaning on one, hey can get pretty large and will engulf the loc line.

you could try and go with the 2 island approach with a sand gap in the middle for some sort of center piece like a prize coral... and maybe have an arch bridge of rock in between? just imo

To answer your first question, you should be fine as long as you keep the rocks wet. i.e.- if you need to remove some from the tank while you're rearranging the base, drain some tank water into a bucket or small tub to place them in.

moving stuff around might mix up ur substrate and allow nitrates that hang out in the very bottom of ur sand to go up. honestly though ive never had an issue with this when moving stuff around.

I actually really like your set up ! Maybe stack a bit higher to cover the lines but IMO it really looks good

I like sand and holes in my rock sacpe, so I might try to take some rocks from the front area (to get more sand back) and stack the rocks all the way to the top in the back, with gaps in between them. I think I would look for some sort of glue that can cure in the tank to work with. Just what I might try.

If your concerned about dead spots with debri and detritus behind your rocks moving them may be a good choice. Regardless to it floating in your water column or sitting behind some rocks its still going to put off the same ammount of nitrates/phosphates into your water. Getting it out now might be a good thing to do, when your rearange your rockwork put a powerhead facing behind or into your rockwork so the flow keeps you from having dead spots.
I have 2 maxijet 1200s faced against the back wall on each side of my tank pointing towards the center then my Koralias up front facing each other. Does a very good job of keeping all the water moving in the tank.

Thanks Guys!! i do have a few dead spots thats why i want to move everything around, i do have 2 power heads, ive got a maxi jet 1200 and a 1020 korlia pump as well, i do have some space behind my rock but i want more, because it looks very ugly with the stuff sitting on my sand, and having black sand does not help all that much, im still not sure how i want to tackle this, i do have another tank set up currently should i take my fish and anemone out while im doing this?? any possibly some of my expensive coral?? at one time i had a powersweep power head behind my rock on the side wall blowing down the back side but it didnt help at all, with the stuff sitting on top of my sand, and i am also considering getting a wavemaker for my tank, but ive been told that my tank is too small?? is this true?
