    Thanks! I think that's around 15 lbs or rock. That's mainly dry rock(more free-form looking rock). LFS didn't have any specific name for it, so I couldn't tell ya what 'ts called. Appears to be dead coral. Or at least has the shape to it.

    Thats cool! i have alot of mixed rock in mine, IMO you should try and add as much rock as you can, the more LR you have, the easier the tank will be to keep nitrates down and etc...I have skimmer and 40lbs of LR in mine and it ran fine for a while until i decided to sale it.

    Yeah, I saw yours. It looked really nice. I am trying to go with 1 lb per gallon. I like the open looks so I don't want a lot of rock. I may end up adding some to the sump/fuge. Not sure yet.

    Great job...huge improvement!

    Love the overhang on the right....plus it gives you places for caral without taking up the sandbed.
