New Arrival 11/03!!!

one of my favorite fish, surprised it took so long to find one, the LFS here nearly always has them

 

A majority of our LFS's are petcos, and I've been told its something they wont special order.

The one shop about an hour away has been trying to get me one for the last 2 months but their vendor cant get them.

Where as DD,LA and Petsolutions normally only get the large ones in when I notice them.. and for some reason the notice's on the sites when I ask to be told when they are in dont take for me. I want a Juvie cause I want to see his color change... .

 

Haha Pumpkin would be a cute name. LOL...

 

How much was it if you don't mind saying. I did not look online before you bought it.

It is a shame you were not able to drive up and PU the fish personally. That would have saved you some coin on shipping. I like to go in the DFS and see what they have when I head up to my cabin as it is only 30 minutes away.

 

Which one? Do you have the addy or PH?

I usually head up to KC, but a trip south is not out of the question.

Yeah, that is the issue about driving there. You spend more than you expect because you buy more goodies while you are there.

 

Achilles Tangs are my absolute favorite. Someday I'll make a tank just for tangs. It'll be somewhere between eight and twelve feet long lol.

Names wise, Freddy Krueger would be good. I think Jason was somewhere in the story of Troy so maybe not so much. If I was telling someone who didn't know what type of fish it was, I'd definately call him Achilles though.

 

LOL my neighbors last name is Krueger... Haha...
