    Got some pictures up!
    First is the FTS

The only lights on it is a blue led strip on a Rio Mini arm clamp. The head screwed off and I just cut it loose. Found a nut that fits on the threads and super glued an aluminium piece to it to fasten the LEDs to.

And a closer view of the light.

Got rid of the rack (may use it in the future) because I found the rock at the LFS. Just under 3 lbs! A really big piece that is like a hybrid of tonga and fiji rock.

Those will be the moonlights for the tank and extra actintics. The flex-arm is from a Rio Mini led light. I just took off the LED head and the ones you see are from eBay attached to a piece of aluminum and screws onto the flex-arm.

They say it is submersible but I like it over the tank.

Yeah that is pretty much what I did. Just took of the original LED head and connect the moonlights to the original wires.

Par30 is in the house! ;D So here is the quick review!

Here are some pictures of unpacking it. Box was a little rough when I got it but everything was fine.

Out of the peanuts and onto the floor. Bulb was packed into its box with some cardboard support and bubble wrap. The clamp was surprisingly wrapped in plastic wrap  I was expecting something more than plastic wrap. It was quite difficult to get it off as well.

The two together! So before I placed it on the tank I wanted to see how well the clamp adjusts. So here's the clamp review...

It has the nice black anno that matches the new heat sinks. A nice touch. The clamping end was bigger than I had expected. It is about 3 inches long, 2 inches front to back and 2 inches tall. It features 3 plastic screws and rubber pads to clamp it down. Although the base was pretty big, it is very stable when clamped down. The lamp head was well designed. It has an on/off switch, so no need to reach behind the stand to get to it. Now to the flexible part... I like the idea of the flexible arm but it was hard to get it to adjust. Some points will only bend in one direction, mostly at the top end of the shaft. This resulted in trying to get the bulb leveled and not at an angle kind of difficult.

Now for the bulb review! I got the 3 royal blue, 1 cool white, 1 neutral white combo. It has that 14k look but a slight purple tint. The picture above is what it looks like as if you were standing right here. You can compare to the sunlight outside of the window. The heat sink is warm to the touch possibly because I have my ceiling fan running.

Looking forward to see how well this bulb does. It is at its maximum height of about 9 inches from the face of the bulb to the bottom of the clamp. It won't adjust any higher unless you clamp it to something above the tank. It is about 18 inches from desktop to the face of the bulb.
