Moved my acan tonight! I think the bottom right corner will be my designated acan corner because flow isn't too crazy there. Thought it would be better to transfer it when lights are out. Gotta go to a graduation tomorrow morning so not too sure how the acan will do with the new lighting. It's about 6 inches from center of the bulb and 16 inches from the face of the bulb.

Acan is opened up and looks like it is doing ok. Not sure if there is too much flow or not. Its hot out today and had to refill today. So I had a good 4 days without refill.

Moved the red people eaters today. Didn't know a small portion had attached itself to the rock and as I pulled it up it tore a little. Got it into the tank at the sandbed and it is slowly opening up.

I made sure I washed my arms and face real well with soap. I should be ok, right?!

Zoas have opened up. Maybe give it a few more days under the LEDs to move it onto the rock. Acans are looking good I think. Probably get some more water mixed today for a small water change.

Things are going slow. Looks like theres a lot of evaporation because I am filling up the ATO every other night.

I am thinking about converting it into a Maxi Mini tank. Any thoughts? I know I have a light that is suitable for Maxi Minis. I just might have too much flow. 240 Korilla Nano and the Topfin 20 rated at 100 gph. So any suggestions/thoughts?

Some fun updates! I moved the acans out because there was too much flow for it.

I went to hang out at the LFS and they gave me a nice steal. Got a blue legged hermit crab, a snail (not sure what species it is but fairly active), a few astrea stars, and an emerald crab thats about an inch for FREE! haah

Haha yeah it is! Also helps that I'm one of their regulars! I will try to get a nice picture of them. Moonlights are on and I'm watching the blue leg clean up the rock, doing a pretty nice job I gotta say. Brown/green patch now, gone after it moves over. I fed the emerald crab a pellet via a straw and now it is just roaming around. The snail has been on the move cleaning the glass since I put it in the tank. I should have a nice and clean tank with these guys and a few vibex's stirring the sandbed.

May get some macro to help with nitrates in the future. Dragon's breath maybe? It would look nice in the tank but I may have too much flow for them.

I think he meant being ok from toxins given off by the RPEs? You'll be fine. :)
