New Beginning to Crashed Tank

    Hey Guys, After my tank crashed a couple weeks ago, I was sure I was done. I just took out all my coral and LR and placed them in a 55gal. Here are some before and after pics. Some of my coral lost it's color tho. Don't know why. It may be because of my lights.

    This is the piece that died and poisoned the tank.

    This one lost all it's green. It's now brown.

    AFTER: As you may probably notice, all my polyps aren't open. I think it could be because my lighting is all but good enough lol.

    sorry to see all this. what type lights did you have running?

    Regular florescent bulbs. 120watts of em::)... I thought they would hold up till I get my halides up and running.I'll be getting my halides soon. Hopefully I get them in time.

    I'm glad you're back in action :) Crashes suck. But most people can't stay away once they've started this hobby.

    Hang in there. They'll be fine. Storms happen in the ocean and they get hardly any light at all at that time. They can handle a few days without MH's. They are tougher than you think.
