I would get another one of the light fixture you have now if you are looking to keep SPS. You might want to add another pump for circulation you would need around 20x for softies and LPS and at least 30x for SPS. You will want to clean the rena no less than once a week to include replacing the filter floss. You could do well with your set up. Just go slow and keep track of you parameters closely.

Im a newbie too and I've already made my first mistake. buying live rock from the wild. I have aptasia in my tank on the rock I bought from my local fish store. So know I'm just seeding with a couple pieces of live rock I know are safe and doing the rst in base rock. Whers your rock?

You are definitely in good shape to keep some softies and possibly some of the easier LPS corals. SPS will require more light and more flow though.

If you are money limited, get a bunch of Fiji. It's pretty cheap and a good start. It's pretty porous and to be honest, I love the look of it! Or you can run a craigslist query and see if anybody is breaking down their SW tanks and get already corralined rocks for cheaper.
