i don't think i did anything special. I have a weird routine of introducing new fish into the tank. I turn off all the lights in the tank and room. cover the tank in a sheet except for a small portion for about 30 minutes. Then i put the new fish in. about an hour later, turn back on all the lights.

But they have all been together for about 3 months now and get along very well. No fighting for the most part.

I'm really wanting in the 220g to do a large community of Gobbies and Clown's. I love anemones and verts like that. Soft corals.

When I was new, I made a lot of the same mistakes you're making now. I promise you that regardless of your observations, thosr fish are not comfortable. We have to remember that we're taking these animals from their homes, from their natural habitats, just so we can enjoy them. We owe it to them to respect their needs and their comfort zones. Not ours. We owe them, not the other way around. Every fish lost because of our learning curve is an innocent animal, an innocent life, lost for nothing.

Again, I wholly admit I made these same mistakes and cost these animals their lives. But I hope you can learn from the horrors I committed and right your current wrong. ASAP.

I'd listen to brandon, he had so many fish in his tank it collapsed!!! Lol. I did the sane thing when I started, i got excited and started putting everything in a tank to small. Get that 220 going and you'll be fine. Welcome man, its truly an addiction.

I know the overload is too much, that's why i'm on here. I've also started another thread about my 220 asking some general Overflow and pump questions. I got the framing and platforms on the stand this morning, so the 220 will be moved in today and put on the stand. After that it's building overflows and my sump.

I'm hurrying, but we all know it's $$$$.

Trust me , I don't like the thought of loosing fish either. Surprisingly enough, in both my 29g and 10g, my params are near perfect. It's a constant maintenance, but it's worth it.

It's great that you're upgrading and being a responsible reefer :) I wouldn't rush too much but just keep moving toward your goal.....if the fish appear healthy and there's not aggression, you have some time. That's my opinion.
