    Dave,

I have an Olympus camera that has a similar situation with the macro setting and auto focus. The camera always tries to focus on the surface of the glass.

Check you out with your Bad self Dave and your new Avatar ;D ;D ;D

What kind of anemone is that? How long have you had it? It looks very healthy!

I long for an anemone in my tank. All I have been reading says they are pretty difficult (at least the ones with host fish). Of course I really wanted a Sebae or Carpet anemone but , alas......I will not get one after reading all about them :-[

I know I could consider a BTA but that is not what you have, is it? Sorry for all the questions!! Thanbks in advance ;D ;D

    Thank you birdlady!
The anemone is a Spotted long tentacle. I also have a bubble tip in the same tank. I have had this anemone for almost a year I brought him home on 08/06/03. As long as your water quality is good and your lights are o.k. I don't see why you can't keep an anemone I would start with a BTA you can get them to host maroon clowns I would put one in the tank for mine but the percula clowns would get harassed by the maroon all the time!
here is a pic of the two anemones

Thanks for the info Dave! ;D
I believe I have plenty of light, 1 - 175 W metal halide, plus up to 5 full tank length NO fluorescents for now. I will wait and see how I do with the water. I am understanding it takes even up to 6 months to totally stabilize water parameters....so I must be patient. I am searching now for LR and am close to putting H2O in the tank. ::)
