    Yeah, hope everyone is doing good. I've been away trying to finish up my Masters. I'm in an aggravating mood tonight.

    Anyway, everyone is asking for pics & I was always asking for advice on a good beginners camera, blah, blah. I got cheap on my last 'coral' camera which was an underwater cheapy (real cheap!).

    Well, what the heck, since the hobby has already depleated my life savings, I went ahead and snagged a refurbished Nikon D40x just for corals. I'm looking to get the 105mm lens (next). I'll be starting a tank thread as well.....

    No, gonna test tonight. I was gonna buy a beginners camera and didn't want a point & shoot, for a couple hundred more bucks, I got this camera refurbished with Nikon & Amazon warraties for a little below 550 bucks shipped!!! The seller was awesome too & had a couple other set-ups. Specs below:
