    Its cool stylaster

    I know nothing about Chalice corals ( never having kept one) , but the right hand edge seems to have expossed skeleton?
    is this something that will eventually re grow over?

    Ive never seen this on any pictures of chalice corals before, hence my interest

    Yes the flesh will grow back over the skeleton, Has happened to a couple of my chalice's.

    Thats sweet! I like how the eye looks like a meteor crater.

    ya it came in with that dead edge, it will grow back over it in a couple of months. Most chalices either encrust the surface they are on or plate out. This one im pretty sure will be plating
