    Thanks guys they are really curious whenever I go near the tank he comes right up. One of my favorite wrasses now.

    OH And PS, i ordered a christmas wrasse, and they sent me a redline. :) They are great fish but try not to put it with any other Halio wrasses. :s Mine got a little mean.

    Halichoeres ornatissimus or Halichoeres biocellatus, but that's getting down to the nitty gritty. Yes, a cross or hybrid is possible too; it does happen in the wrasse world. There's actually lots of debate on species that look very similar to each other, if they are actually different species or not. But I digress...

    As you've seen, there are 3 species which commonly get the "Christmas Wrasse" label: Halichoeres ornatissimus, biocellatus, and claudia. So in this sense, you still have a "Christmas Wrasse", regardless of what species it really is.
