new chromis?

    Hey guys, i have a 130 gallon tank with 4 green chromis, 1 tomato clown, a yellow angel, and a huge sailfin tang. i love my chromis alot and was wondering if it would be ok to get like 5 more, i love how they shool but i was just wondering if they would fight with the ones already in there?

    I say do it!! With a tank that size they should all get along no problem

    It should probably be ok, just whatever you get, make sure you end up with an odd number.

    just know if you do it their probably going to go through the whole pecking order thing and that you will more than likely loose a few

    I would not risk it, you are lucky enough to have 4 coexisting and not just 2, it may be 2 pairs now and adding 5 more may just lead to battles and deaths.

    Some people have added more chromis to an existing group successfully, others have not. Seems to be a crap shoot, or has something to do with size of the tank etc. In a 150 you might be OK though, good luck whatever you decide.

    They will die slowly for some reason, but my lfs and I shared that we always had better luck with odd numbered groups.
