I just finished my cycle for my 29 Gallon aquarium. This is the list so far:

    - 5 Yellow tipped hermit crabs
    - 1 Emerald crab
    - 2 Astraea snails (1 Conehead, 1 Spiny Star)

I'm really excited about how it's going to go!

I'm thinking a skunk cleaner shrimp or a blood red fire shrimp. Fishwise I have 3 Damsels (1 Domino, 1 Yellowtail, and 1 4-Striped) I'm thinking of getting a lawnmower blenny as well. (They are just interesting to me how they dig in the sand and stuff :)) What do you think is an interesting fish that would fit in a 29 gallon?

With those damsels, not much but maybe your blenny! unfortunately damsels once established don't play well with others!:(

I'm probably going to sell them once they get too large. Any other interesting fish once I sell them?

I hear that once they get larger they get more territorial and can attack other fish if bothered.

in a 29g tank there wont be much room so they will be bothered by other fish very easily. you should be fine with what you have goin on though sounds like a good setup!

How long has your tank been up and running? Don't add too fast and put too heavy of a bioload into the tank before it can handle it.

I have the same size tank and I added too many fish too fast and had a lot of nitrate problems early on.

    good luck

Put them in when I started the cycle. I didnt realize that it could harm the fish until the cycle was finished. It's been running for a month and a half.
