i have a 12g nanocube thats beeen up for years i have mushrooms hammers zoa polyps ..i have no snails fish or crabs only coral that has been thriving its the best iv ever seen it! i finally thought id get a fish to spice it up. i bought the smallest clown iv ever seen hair bigger then a quarter, i acclimated my precious into the tank 2 days ago and he hasnt eaten anything and now second day hes just bumping into things... iv had this problem when months ago i bought an arrow crab and it died the next day all my water parameters for fish are perfect. temp, salinity,hp,light no foes i do water changes regularly since its small tank, what am i missing hes about to die!

ph 8.3,temp 78, gravity.025, calcium was almost 490, and ammonia 0,since the calcium was a little high would that cause him to not eat for 3 days? also how about the food what if i switched food type from lets say frozen shrimp to flakes?

    How did you acclimate him?
Maybe your tank is having a small cycle bc it's not used to having much bioload. Coral aren't much of a bioload. Did you feed your coral regularly?
Do you have results for nitrite?

+1 on above post, you also stated you have zero crabs and snails you have nothing eating or removing waste, the longer you go without these guys the leftover food and waste from your clown will do some damage to your params

He doesn't sound that small, to not be able to eat regular food. If he really is that small maybe try some crushed flakes, soaked in garlic if you can.
