Should I drip longer than 1 hour or should I not worry?

Drip a lil longer then one hour and he will be fine..

I dont drip, my trates at at 20ppm and the LFS is at like 2ppm..I just float for like 30 mins and then add to the tank, same with corals, everything is fine though, no loses.

Test the ammonia quickly and check the SG. If ammonia is high take out some of the water it's in and replace it with yours. Do that every 10 minutes or so and after 30 to 45 minutes put it in the tank (minus the bag water). If you drip for an hour or more and the ammonia is high, it's going to do permanent damage to the fish and it could die anywhere from a day to 3 or 4 days after putting it in the tank.

What you're trying to do with acclimation is get the temperature and SG the same as your tank so the fish isn't shocked when you put it in. What you're trying not to do is let it sit in high ammonia in the bag for too long.

These guys seem to have acclimated properly and they are eating fairly well.
Oh and they adjusted to the flow of the tank too so all seems pretty good so far.

When can I do a water change they just acclimated yesterday -- would next weekend be ok?

Thank you for the advice guys!!
