I just noticed this morning one of my black clowns had pop eye. Its only on his right eye, and it appears to be a little white in the center. Im at school right now and wont be home until 4. Here are the tank specs:

    40g display + 40g sump
    80lbs of LR
    40lbs of LS

    temp : 78-80
    ph: 8.3
    ammonia: 0.25
    nitrate: 5
    nitrite: 0
    calcium 450

I just added him yesterday with another black clown and they were suppose to be a pair, but didnt showing signs of them being a pair when they were in my friends tank. The larger one, I'm assuming is the female, is always attacking the smaller.
I fed the tank some reef nutrition reef pods this morning and he shows interest and is eating.
    What should I do?

People will probably say medicate it, and I agree if they do. I had a fish with pop eye, I didn't treat it and it died, so definitely do something about it if you want it to live!

Popeye is more of a condition than a disease. Disease can cause it, but most often it is a result of mechanical injury. Medicating is a solid way to prevent secondary bacterial infection from setting in. I had a damsel get it once. I just kept my params in good order and it resolved itself.

Thanks guys, I did a search on the site and found that melafix mixed with food worked but I was at the LFS today and they didnt carry that.

I came home and did a 2 gallon water change and will do another water change by the end of the week. I fed them rods food when I came home from the LFS, and he has a big appetite. I just fed them again with rods food but this time I soaked the food in zoecon. He is still eating like a beast, so hopefully he will survive and fight it. Karma to you guys =]
