From my exp., nemos tend to do this when their in a new environment. As stated below, just give him/her a few days and he'll be all over the place.

IMO one of the best things you can do for your tank is to slow down. Once cycling is finished we all want to throw every item we ever wanted into the tank at once.

Resist the urge! The slower you add tank inhabitants, the better it will be for every resident. The beneficial bacteria need time to reach equilibrium with every addition/bioload increase.

After 20 years I'm just beginning to learn that owning an aquarium is not a destination, but a journey. Stop and smell the ocean every now and then. Just an hour ago I was sitting in front of my tank with a jeweler's loupe watching the copepods on the glass. Some look like parasols, some like snowflakes, some like insects. The same magnifying glass revealed to me that the eyes on hermit crabs are a series of perfectly round dots on what looks like the tip of a baseball bat.

Remember, many of the photos we see on this site and others; although they appear to be a beautiful utopia or completed project, are just another step of the journey for those lucky enough to have the restraint and resolve to take it slow.

Whoops! And to address your question (duh!) like the others said, if he's eating and swimming, he'll be fine.

Clowns are tiny, but mighty. they are survivors--little flakes are big to a little guy---as long as he nibbles you are ok--try putting a little Kent's garlic extreme with the food--it makes them eat even more

Thanks again everyone. My new tank is coming along swimmingly. Everyone is quite happy & Nemo is just fine. I was just being like Nemo's over-protective father.

It is amazing that you can sit and watch LR before you put an animal in your tank. I feel bad for the freshwater fish now. :-/
