    Hello everyone!

I purchased my first Ocellaris Clownfish today and a set of Waving Hand Corals. I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on food for the coral and how often to feed them. I tried to read up on it online and in books but I am confused. I also added some clean-up crew. 3 Astrea snails and and 2 blue leg hermit crabs. I realize that I should have probably gotten more. Does anyone have any suggestions? Another question I had was how long should I wait before I add another fish to the tank? My tank is only a 10 gallon but I was told that it would be safe to add 1 or 2 more. Thanks!

hi there, i'd wait a week or so for the system to relax again and with the feeding, there is not much to say people have diffrent ideas, i feed mine once every two days with tmc coral food bright orange stuff and not as much as they say as it is concentrated to high heaven, but see what works for you and what food yo use, with others i feed a few drops daily, but water change is the key really

The "waving hands" or pulsing Xenias basicly just need good lighting. Of course it wouldnt hurt to pour some Phytoplankton in the tank every once in a while.
It is recommended to wait at least 2-3 weeks before introducing another new fish. This time helps your tank to cope with the new bio-load.

You could use a couple more snails and hermits. The Pulsing Xenia don't need feedings, just lighting, although they wouldn't object to the occasional treat of phytoplankton. You could add 1 more fish to the tank, but even that may be pushing it. I would recommend a clown goby. They would be small enough to add 2 to the tank.
