I know it is not really too much cause for alarm as they are both healthy active clowns but for the first couple days they showed no interest, now im at a week and they show interest in the food but when they go after it its like they dont think that its really food and just leave it alone after a second. (tried frozen mysis, reef caviar, and pellet:-X). Any suggestions? They are SA fancy clowns not that it should make any difference.

...man, I dunno, mine go crazy for aquadine, and the cylopeeze gel stuff... they may just be in a bit of shock. If they look well fed they're ok for now, just keep offering them the food. You could try tempting them with garlic... just mash a clove of garlic, take some of the juice, and mix it in with some of their food... a little goes a long ways. For whatever reason, most fish love garlic.

Clowns aren't picky on what they eat. Mine eat bloodworms, brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, pellet, and even flake. A week I wouldn't be to overly concern as long they are active & look healthy.

Now, what brand(s) are you using & how's you flow? When feeding, you should turn off your powerheads. All brands are NOT the same. They love the pellet and the frozen food I throw in a cube or two still frozen. There will always be a debate on thawing it out first, but I have been doing this for over 5 years & while still frozen, you don't loose nutricines.

Keep us posted. BTW the sinking pellet I use is Ocean Nutrition Formula Two Marine Pellet (green container), matter of fact all my fish, crabs & shrimp go nuts for this food. It's a small pellet size, which is nice.

Using hikari pellets (which I do not usually use pellets), h20 reef caviar, and hikari mysis shrimp. I use 2 koralia 425's in a 29g, not crazy flow or anything the fish definitely have enough time to investigate the food but then leave it alone. The fish both look healthy, they just swim around and hang out in the current. I never turn off the powerheads and the gramma and clown goby go crazy for the food. Are the powerheads going off a necessity?

Maybe try changing the times you feed them or perhaps even put them in a refugium and feed them there until they get a good schedule of eating going

I would turn off the powerheads during feeding.

try soakin the pellets in vitamin c selcon and garlic they might like the seasoning and go for it than. Most clowns arent picky and eat just about anything you throw there way is there any other fish bullying them maybe
