New Contest?

ok so Around december good? start water in tanks in january sounds good?

 

I actually just started up a new 10 gallon yesterday, and by start I mean live sand, and water. But today I found out my lights I bought(PCS) ran way to hot. Like I thought they were going to catch the hood I made on fire. So i took them back and bought t-5s. So excited, can't wait.

it has alot of helpful and you could learn from my mistakes there's alot i make and record in that thread

also K+ for just seting up a 10 it way harder than the bigger tanks

 

this may not be my place however...

matt and his mods assemble very good contests and prizes on regular occasssions. give the time and allow them to assemble these on there own, and tank build contests allienate others without the money and resources to make a new tank.

i guess what i am trying to say is sit back and enjoy the site and contests they bring to us.

 

I just went through both of your threads Damsels are Cool, pretty sweet looking, I decided to pant the back of my tank black because I like your design. What type of paint did you use for that, just regular latex paint?

 

the new one i just used some regular wallmart paint but many people use the krylion fusion and the old one it's a stick on vinyl stick-on

 

I understand that but you dont HAVE to do it this would be something like use what you have many people have old light fixtures sitting around or all ready have a tank with over growing corals that they could frsg
