Here are some pics of my new additions, i have gotten in with a wholesaler who offers some pretty good pricing. Let me know what you think of my selections and what i paid. I am pretty much a newbie, only been in the hobby for about 6 months so any criticism is appreciated.
My pics were taken with my crappy camera phone, i cant find my regular camera charger.
One a clam that i got for 40, its pretty small but looks decent when opened, he wasnt opening up quite yet. Do you think that placement is okay? I sorta stuck him in a crevice hoping he would just bury himself right there. I wanted to keep him higher up in the tank and that looked like the best place.
One is a chalice, its about 4-5 inches by 3 inches its light green with pink, which is hard to see. I paid 65 for that. The guy there didnt quite know what kind it was, anyone have an idea??
The other is a spiral coral, i havent been able to find much information on this thing. It was 45 bucks, i had recently seen one at a LFS and they were asking 89 for one that was probably an inch or so shorter, so i thought it was a decent deal.

    Thanks for checking it out.

nice additions.spiral coral looks really interesting. chalice is a chalice give it any name you want. and make sure you target feed phyto on your clam. its quite small and will need more than light to keep it healthy.

Try and get the clam on a level surface, it will be happiest there.

Nice looking chalice, don't know about the name - probably differs depending on who is selling it.

Good luck with the spiral coral I believe they are non-photosynthetic, so you will need to spot feed it.

Thanks for the responses. I dont have alot of flatter services that arent in the sand, so i worry about it not getting enough light. I was maybe gonna re-arrange the right side of my rock work cause its pretty steep.

That's looks much more like a Cirrhipathes spp Vs a Junceella spp.

Either way, they are a royal pain in the butt. You pretty much need to feed them several times a day.
