I am sure there's a few corals you can touch with little or no problem .. But when in doubt try and handle by the plugg if its on one.. Or the dead part of the coral like a branching Lps....

I am sure there's another helping hand out there..!! tag your it..!!

    Good Luck..!!!

Hi rwill GSPs - they will close down when the LFS are bagging them up, They normally waft a hand or some tongs over them to get them to close down - when you get home, you will just have a purple rock and you can handle that with no problems, just be careful and try not to damage it - bits can break off at times

Zoas, similar in that they will close down, and normally purchased attached to a piece of live rock or a frag disc - for these , handle by the base or frag disc is best option

many people with these species would just lift them out of the bag they arrive home in and place straight in the DT - (hardy species)

but it is also general practice to acclimatise in a similar way to fish - float the bag, add tank water over a period of time ( 30 mins for me) and then lift the coral out of the bag and place
