Yes orange linkia star. IMHO your tank isn't old enough for one of those. They need a well established, balanced tank and are pretty sensitive to change.

    Orange Linkia

I have found out that floating them then adding little water into the bag over about 3-4 hours is best for linkia star acclimation. When you drip method them them you have to do it very slowly and because of that the temp will drop in your bucket. If the star looks good after 1 week then you should be ok.

The linkias IMO should be left in the ocean. I killed one in three weeks by putting it into a tank barely two months old. I am guessing it starved. No one really knows what they eat. Good luck. Keep an eye on it. There are those on the forum who have had theirs for years, so there is a chance for success, albeit small.

My purple is doing great. I got it in I guess June? Maybe May?? It's all over the place and very quick! You look at it then ten minutes later it's on the other side of the tank. Like any star, look for decaying of the legs, lethargy, stuff coming out of the mouth(stringy, white) If any of these things happen, go ahead and take it out. They seem to like when something is decaying to eat. Some of my hairy shrooms fell/were pushed off the rock they were on, half of them anyway and the other half was hanging in the water, I moved them and they had a really "oceany" scent. They stretched so much that the pink mouth was the only thing showing and it was about 2" long. I moved them as soon as I noticed and the star went right over to them and stayed in different spots on the for a few days. I think he was cleaning the decaying stuff. They look great now!
