    Three new species of coral including a coral nicknamed 'rasta' because of its dreadlocked branches from coral genus Narella, a tiny lobster and several urchins has been discovered off the Chatham Rise near New Zealand. Three surveys of the 'Graveyard region' since 2001 have revealed high levels of biodiversity, and many unsubscribed species including benthic macroinvertebrates. The first survey alone showed that 15% of the species collected were unknown. Exciting news from the deep! Pics inside.

    I doubt it. :)
    I think the urchin is stunning. And I bet that coral would be very cool up close. I don't think those lobsters are 'reef safe' however. :)

    So true.. I bet the online retailers can't wait to get their sticky paws on new unseen corals so they can rip off fellow reefers..
