    thanks you guys ! Its a pretty neat coral, I was completely unprepared though.. Its starting to open up pretty big though I will put up new pics tomorrow on its progress!!

    Sarcophyton's are one of the easiest corals to propagate.

    You may even want to consider cutting into smaller pieces so it will not quickly overgrow your tank also.

    Which it will do very quickly in good light/water conditions...

    you can try rubberbanding two rocks together and pinching it between them.this workes better than just rubberbanding sometimes as the rubberband will sometimes cut through the tissue of the coral.just another idea all or any of them should work.
