    nice additions

I to just got a metallic brain and was wondering how you feed it? I did research before I bought it and know from what I read it needs to be fed like 3 times a week. Now I have a sun coral I put in a tupperware bowl and I feed it that way as my fish will gooble it up before it even gets a chance to eat can I do the same thing with the brain?

'I was told that they feed off the light until they get bigger and then I can put some Mysis or Brine shrimp on it.

I don't know about waiting until it gets bigger? How big is big enough to feed? I have target fed mine Mysis from day one. It will tell you when its hungry. Its mouth will open. There are times when its mouth is closed and I dangle mysis and nothing, other times it will open up right away.

a good way to get LPS to feed (if closed up when you are trying to feed larger food like mysis, brine, etc...) is to slow the pumps down if you have a controller that allows you to do so or turn them off completely. Feed the tank with smaller foods like cyclops or whatever you feed your other corals. Wait like 10-20 min. Once they sense the smaller foods in the water column they will begin to open up. once they open you can then feed them the larger foods.
