Been awhile since I made a coral purchase. I was very tempted to get a large red chalice but figured it would need high light and grow incredibly slow so I went with a large maricultured red favia of some sort. Also picked up what is either a pink or rainbow stylophora (leaning towards pink), a neon green trumpet, and a mixed zoa frag.;D

Nice! And it is my experience, most chalices require lower to medium light conditions. Only a few that I have seen like SPS-type lighting. In my last SPS system, all of my chalices were in the shade, and it was still to strong from some...I'm guessing glass reflection since they were literally in the shade.

Interesting...I assumed they would prefer higher light too! I will move my little frag I got to a lower spot...I just have T5 lighting though...

    Congrats on the new corals!
