Pics from this morning! They seem to like their new location. The sexy shrimp have taken to the frogspawn, they aren't nipping at the heads though.

They are so much fun to watch! I sit after lights out and watch them hop all over the tank. I'll probably add a few more after I'm finished stocking the fish and corals.

What is Court Jester? Is it a coral or a fish?

Pics from today at 11:30 CST, right about lunch time...I swear the critters know that I sit here to eat and watch them...

Welcome to the dark side!! You've got it BAD!! You sound like a 10 year old kid in a candy store, and that's EXACTLY how it should be!

Your frogspawn is absolutely beautiful. You're on your way. Off to a great start. That GSP is nice too. It will spread pretty fast if you keep on your parameters. When a GSP is closed it's purple, as I'm sure by now you know.

Keep an eye on your protein skimmer. It will let you know by its performance, how things are doing.

Karma to ya for being so psyched!!

I've had some setbacks and deaths. Lost my favorite critter after some stray voltage got him. Thanks to an addition of a ground probe (from the prodding of the people on this site), everything is healthier than it ever has been.

I counted 1 new bud at the base of my xenia last night, this morning there are six. Looks like I'll have my mini-reef after all!!!

I have some brown zoas that hitchhiked their way in on the live rock. I'm really looking for about 3 or 4 polyps that I can place in between the brown ones to make the rock more colorful/interesting. LFS said some of the green ones may just "fall" off the parent colony and become another $5 frag soon. I think he's having more fun with my tank than I am...

Gin (who needs to shower and go to the bank...NOW)
