So I met a fellow reefer in my area here on 3reef, Melba, and she was kind enough to give me some free corals! I got a couple kenya trees and some zoas. Here are some pics. They are opening up and doing great. Thanks Melba.

Its always nice to get freebies. Whenever I sell off some of my corals I always try to include a few free ones as I always appreciated getting some free corals. Thats great of Melba to give away some free freebies.

I agree Gexx, it may be a pretty common coral but I like it a lot too. In my area coming across decent looking corals is pretty hard so I'm happy with anything I can get.

free corals are awesome. I've got Kenya trees and they grow super fast which means in no time you'll be able to give some away as well if you want. I love the way most reefers are cool like that!

My tank is kind of bare now so that's what was appealing about the kenyas was their fast growth rate so I can work on filling my tank in. My parent's are going to be starting up a bigger tank and hopefully by then mine will be big enough to give them some for their tank too.
