    ya matt i like the idea to but its my first experience with an SPS besides the hitch hiker monti cap that came in on a piece of my rock so i dont wanna be cutting into the corals to much since i dont know how well they will do in my tank at first

    Yep, apply the gel on a dried portion for best adhesion and be generous on the amount, and quickly place it on the spot you want moving the coral back and forth slightly to break the skin that form on the gel from contact with the water. Hold for 15 seconds and it should be good to go.

    +1 I think i got my chilli pepper minti a bit like this. The stn part is the shape of the very tip of my index finger :p I try to never touch my coral's fleshy parts but when you are diping and placeing 10-15 frags accidents occur.

    Gel works great, just glued another acro from off a crappy plastic plug with loclight. I have glued Everything from acros to tiny single zoa polyp and loclite never bugs the frag in question

    STN = Slow Tissue Necrosis

    Where the tissue actually dies and sloughs off the coral. It's an SPS thing. There is also RTN... guess what that one stands for... hehe
