    Thanks Curt, although I'm not really sure I want that name stuck in my head whenever I see one of these in the future! :D I much prefer the common name sea mouse, named for the felt-like threads that cover the back & collect silt which helps camouflage the worm as it crawls on the bottom. It's in the polychaete family Aphroditidae and there are scales under the felt so it's also called the furry scaleworm.
