New Facebook Layout

There's all sorts of petitions to take Facebook back to the old format.

I understand people's frustration because you have to re-learn how to do things. However, I have a different "take" on the situation. They have had a very poor click-through rate. To be financially secure, I would personally rather have them change the forum to attempt to improve their click-through rates so the advertisers can keep it free for me. I don't pay a penny to pay for Facebook. I would rather re-learn how to do things than have them move to a pay by the month or pay by the year business model.

What say ye?

I've essentially stopped using it.

 

FB is soooooo slow now it's unbelievable. I type a sentence. Then wait for it to finish. Granted, I am a pretty quick typist, but jeez. Then again, maybe it's my laptop. Has anyone else experienced this? It seems it started with the changeover.

And I don't mind paying for it. I have gotton back in contact with scores (literally scores) of people I hadn't seen in WELL over two decades. If something has enough value.....then it is worth contributing to. 3reef is the perfect example of such.

 

I have had no problems with it. I personally don't think it was that dramatic of a change.

 

The new layout is simply horrid. Just terrible. And learning it has nothing to do with my opinion. Its just way to busy. And it takes longer to navigate through. And like John said, I have experienced significant speed issues from time to time since they switched.
I've gone back to MySpace quite a bit more since the change myself.

It is not that bad to use with the new layout, doesn't really even bother me that much.

 

Another main reason I am fading from facebook. Took a few weeks to realize why I never did stay in contact with a lot of people, lol.
