new family members

picked up a pink skunk clown and an anemone (looks like a blue tip only more brown in color than white) for a whopping 22$!
picking fish up at the LFS is like the lottery, I pick what looks good but dont know exactly what I got or if I wasted my money.

they had a red and blue tiger striped fish for sale for 54$! and had it thrown in a tank with a ton of other fish and all the anemones!

my blue damsels immediately started picking on the clown the second he was in the tank and put me from 8) to instantly... the jig was up as soon as the clown found his anemone.. the bully blues learned real quick to stay away. ;D

the funny thing is that all damsels are supposed to be aggressive I am told but the five banded damsel (sergeant major we call em here) isnt mean at all, and he has gone from the smallest to largest fish in the tank.

 

hmm! Sounds like a good deal! I'm also planning to get a bubble tip anemone.

sgt majors are one of the more aggressive kinds. All of the rounder bodied ones are the more aggressive kinds, same is true for clownfish too.

check and see what the serg major does at night while the lights are out and it thinks no ones looking.

 

he actually changes colors and gets really dark and hides by the pipes of the DIY overflow
