What you have is a typical wet/dry filter with bio balls. In stock form they are not generally recommended for a reef system but it can be converted to a sump pretty easily. They are normally found in fish only systems where nitrates are not as mcuh as issue as with a reef.
Do a search and I'm sure you will find lots of advice on how to use or convert it.

    Good Setup

No, I believe fuge is short for refugium. What you have there is a wet/ dry trickle. From the pics it seems it may not be big enough but if you are not planning on adding an in sump (skimmer that you put under water) you could get some acrylic at your local home depot and (VERY IMPORTANT) aquarium safe silicone such as all glass aquarium silicone.
    You should watch these vids:
    YouTube - Wet/Dry Refugium
    YouTube - LimpitsReef's Channel

    Anyway, what size tank?
    Pics are mandatory!;D

It is perfectly fine the way it is. You will find on this forum those who may have an inordinant dis-like for bio balls, when in fact, with the blue filter media above them, you will have no problems. I have a 55 gal. and have the Megaflow I with bio balls and it is fine.

Agreed. Many years ago, bio-balls, along with many other excellent media and devices, got a bad rap for being "nitrate factories". Those myths and poor observations have been largely dispelled with the modern advent of proper maintenance.
