Purchased a new Potters Angelfish yesterday at the LFS. He was harassed by my tangs for a few minutes, but soon found all the spots in the LR that the tangs couldn't reach and now he is out all the time picking at the rocks. He has not touched any of the coral. A++ fish and another A++ job by Colby at Bayside Corals here in Saskatoon. I would recommend this fish to other hobbyists, but should probably be one of your first few additions.

Thanks, I guess I was pretty lucky in getting an angel that wasn't too shy.

Right on man, I really like the Potters Angel, but I've always had trouble with them in the past. Had a hard time getting them to eat or they were really shy and got bullied a lot. They're such cool fish though, colors are awesome and so are the patterns. The one I used to have was super crazy and would jump out at me if I looked into the top of the tank at it. That one was cool but caught ich and died in QT. Decided not to replace it because of my record with Potters and decided on a Flame Angel, which so far much better at eating and acclimating to aquarium life.

Fantastic fish! One of the more 'reef safe' centropyges, if not THE safest. Mostly eat diatoms of the glass and rocks.

Good thing you got him now before Hawai'i potentially bans collection driving this already fairly expensive fish through the proverbial roof!!

Again nice pick, treat him well and he will highlight your tank for years!
