Here it is Tuesday afternoon. Have yet to see my purple firefish. Should I be worried, or give it more time?

I continued searching the floor, haven't found it. I am assuming its still hiding.

Give it some time. They are tiny, and very hard to find when they hide.

I would say give it some time also.

BTW what else do you have in the tank for fish?

It might be getting bullied by the clowns and/or blenny.

Good possibility the clowns. They nip at my arm on occasion when I clean.

I added a firefish and thought I had killed it for days. First I couldnt find it, and then later I found him wedged inbetween some rocks. It was so tight that he looked like he was laying on the rocks and not moving. I was sure I had lost him. As I was getting ready to get him out, he had turned around. So I decided to leave him and see what happened.

The next day he was gone. I was still stressed out, thinking he'd died. Couple days later, guess who came out at feeding time? Now he's out all the time (though still skiddish, and the first to head into his cave at night). Infact, he seems to like to follow around my clowns.

So, dont give up hope yet :)
