I want to get a yellow and blue tang (regal) and I am also keen on the six line wrasse. Question is, will it be ok to introduce all the fish at the same time? I know that the tangs should be introduced together so they don't fight, but will it be ok to put these 3 in together at the same time. These are the only other fish I will be putting in my tank as I do have two clowns.

The other point worth mentioning is the three fish mentioned above are all babies...only an inch or so.

    Thanks

I wouldn't add two tangs to a tank that small myself but if you absolutely must do it, you'll want to add them all at the same time. That being said, adding this many fish at a time could be fatal as the bacteria in your system cannot grow nearly as fast as it would need to to keep up with the increased bioload. .

Doesn't the fish usually to some extent grow to their surroundings? Someone I know bought a couple of clowns about 5 months ago and they have hardly grown at all, but they do have about 6-7 fish in total. I bought my clowns about 2 months ago and they where the same size, however they have grown about 3 times as big!

I thought I'd check this out, a fish will actually release growth limiting hormones (GLH), so the more fish, the more hormones. This would explain why a higher populated tank will grow slower than having only a few fish!

Hey, I answered my own question!

Yes, that is true and I have yet to see a tang "outgrow" a tank, however, they are huge crap factories and are a somewhat aggressive fish. Those two facts combined with the fact that you have a small tank may cause you some problems.
