New Fish-QT Tank questions assistance please

    I ordered from a reputable guy, and the anthiases got stressed in shipping and died the next day. The point being, it was really really hard to find them in a 125 gallon reef :) Last week, I went into an lfs, and bought the same species of anthias, and put them in a 40 breeder qt. They got the chance to eat and are still around. Not to mention the potential fr diseases. I knocked on wood for almost 2 years, and was lucky. But I saw a friends tank crash and decided not to risk it anymore.

    I wouldn't qt the trigger though, I haven't heard of them carrying much as far as diseases, the tangs I would def watch for ich

    I agree just don't have the room set up for those facilities and definitely should. I think that it is great for the feeding aspect you mentioned. I have used that on tetras in fw with a small tank I had but would want a larger tank for anthias though.
