I had 3, and they were ICH infested from the start. Lost them all, so watch out. Neon Goby, cleaner shrimps, and a cleaner Wrasse, are all fish i would add to your tank. Great for the Tangs, also. My local fish store has a pretty large Gramme, and he's awesome!
    Good luck!

I doubt it... that's not too bad of a swing.

IMO, fish that die shortly after introduction to a tank (especially appearing to be healthy at the onset) are either getting killed by other fish with established territories or, possibly 'caught' with cyanide... as cyanide poising can hide then all of a sudden claim the life. I've had TERRIBLE luck with Chromis... if they live past a month then they life forever, but I consistently lose half of my additions within the first week (never happens with other fish). Shoaling fish like chromis are probably a prime candidate for cyanide, "kill 100 fish with one stone," I guess. If I ever get more I'm going to try a different vendor. Just a conspiracy theory.

Anyway, sorry for the loss, but unfortunately it just happens... I'd say give it another go. Gramma's are stunning fish, both in color and as Camilsky displayed, colorful personalities as well. I just went for the black cap basslet (Gramma melacara) because my tang already offers a splash of yellow... very shy at first, but now he's both a cave dweller and an open swimmer. Good luck...
