I was at my LFS today and they had a new type of sweetlips I havent seen. Its an oriental sweetlips. He is 2.5-3" long.I read that they can get up to 34".The lfs said that it wont get that big in captivity.I also read they are for experts only. The lfs said it took his 2.5 years to get 16 inches.I can deal with that in an 8 foot tank.I was just wondering if anyone has had experience with these fish?
Sorry no pics yet but if you look up the juvinile you will see how beautiful they are.
I know he is nocturnal so I put some mysis in there after lights out.I have lots of tiny snails yes some of them are pyramids part of why I got him. They killed my crocea along with some worm. What I read said he will eat worms, snails, crustaceans, starfish and mysis.

Most fish only get to half to 3/4 the max in the wild.

I have no experience, but wish you the best and would love to see your pics.
