Missing 1 water change should make no difference.

    What type of power heads?

Move the palys and the kenya to an area of higher flow. I am wondering if you have enough for a 55 gallon.

    Nothing else jumps out.

Aqueoun pumps. Got them from Dr Foster web site. I also have an Aquatop skimmer that also has a filter 200 gph and a canister filter that does about 200gph per hour also. It's a cheap skimmer but actually pulls quite a bit of nasty stuff out. So I gues I have about 2000gph flow.

The skimmer and canister may add flow to the system.

I would adjust the direction of the powerheads.

Personally those 2 power heads in a 55 gallon would not be enough flow for me.

Again try moving the Kenya into more direct flow, you may want to do so with the Euphyllia as well. Not placement directly in front of the PH but significantly improve the flow to the corals area.

I could go to wal mart and get a power head. No LFS near me. What about the ZOAs ? More flow for them also.

    Yeah try it.

Did you dip any of these before you put them in the tank?

I am still at a loss why nothing has opened at all.

No I don't even know how to dip them. Newbie here !! I'm going to move the power heads. I have one on each end of the tank. Any ideas where would be a good place to move them.
