Thanks! I've never had a vivarium or a terrarium. The guy I'm getting the frog from was supposed to help me set up but he lives in another city and we're having a blizzard. He's giving me all the stuff I need to set up and I get to look at the plants in his vivarium and pick out clippings. So right now I don't know whats going in.

I'll get a bunch of pics up when I get her home :)

    More plants LOL. Thanks John!

Thanks! I haven't actually seen her but Scott says you see one you see em all. He also said that she sings a little since being removed from the others and if I do a good job with keeping her and move up to a 10 gallon, he'll give me a male.

    Thanks!

Thank you! I've always wanted a bumblebee, they yellow and black blow me away.

That sucks. Thanks for the heads up. Won't be any plastic in the tank though but hopefully she doesn't climb to much.

    Thanks!

Cool! My wife's freaking out and doesn't seem to believe that they loose their toxicity when they stop snacking on the poisonous bugs. So I don't think she'll be leaving her tank much LOL.

Here's what I've come up with so far. It's all done with scrap pieces from another project.
There's another 5 gallon tank under the base and I drilled a hole for a 3/4" bulkhead in the bottom of the top tank. I'll heat the water with a 50W Tetra heater and pump it up to her pool with 1/2" CPVC. The pipe will run through the same bulkhead the water drains out.
I'll stain it tomorrow and figure out the light. I'm gonna use a single 6500K CFL-R for the plants.

    Thanks Steve.

Too bad you couldn't send me a couple dozen bamboo shoots.

Dood! we're looking into dart frogs too! There's a store a couple of hours south that had some amazing specimens. My husband has kept them before, but I never have. I'm so excited. I can't wait to see what you do.

Pretty cool huh! I've wanted one for quite awhile but never pulled the trigger because of cost. I sold some frags to a local and when I was dropping them off I see his vivarium and frogs. I comment on how I've always wanted some type of dart frog. A couple days later I have mail asking if I want Pokey.

LOL I guess it is a build isn't it. Thanks for the compliment. I stained the stand today and built a water cascade out of rubble and great stuff. It turned out nicer than I expected actually. LOL.
I was gonna give her a pool but found out that they can't swim and will drown in relatively shallow water.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Most definitely worthy of a build thread IMO.
