I was kinda hoping for that myself. She's still in the tank but just checked and she's starting to balloon up. Also pretty stiff. :(

well if it doesnt work out, there are many options you could do, just plants, try a new frog when its not snowing and what not, try a pygmy or vieled chameleon. or try to sell it. its all up to you, hope she makes it though, please keep us updated :)

Wife and I went to Sioux Falls tonight and I had to make the rounds of the pet stores. While in one I was watching this little green tree frog grub on some crickets. The more I watched the more I thought how cute it was and then he (I'm assuming) crawled up a plastic plant and began to chirp. That sealed the deal!
Got him home and when I went to put him in the vivarium what do I find? Another little frog hiding in the moss the store clerk put in the box! Two for the price of one :)
Part of me wants to call the store tomorrow and tell them of the mistake the other side says "their loss, my gain". LOL
For now I'm just happy to have a new friend in the set up.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Very cool! I am a frog and toad fanatic. To have my own little chippers would be great. And hopefully you probably saved the bonus frog from a less then ideal home.
I am glad you finally got something to put in that beautiful build.

Thanks! I'll attempt to get some pictures tomorrow. I just went down to check of them and both were out in the open. The little one (the one I picked originally) was singing softly until I turned the lights on.

Contracts on the new little frogs, man!! I would not worry about the extra frog, I'm sure it was his late birthday present to you and he really wanted it to be a surprise! ;)

    Will wait on the pictures!

Thanks Mag. I would think that if it had been at my friends store but it was a chain store that rhymes with Petco ;) and like 5 minutes to close and a very impatient teenage employee. LOL

Yeah it would have been cool to have the dart, she was very pretty and the tree frogs are just green but it's still cool to hear him sing when the lights go off. I'll try to get pics but they hide so well. Today I was looking and looking for the frogs, after about 5 minutes I realized they both were right in front of my face on the stem of the vining plant.

Here's a few pics of Bing. He's the frog I originally picked and named after the famous crooner Bing Crosby cuz after lights out he never shuts up! Vivarium is in the basement and I can hear him from my bedroom on the main floor when he really gets going. It should be interesting this summer when the peepers start chirping from my pond garden. To me the two species sound similar when they sing.

I was going to try and force a pic of the other frog this morning but couldn't find it.
