OK previously I have had a 55 gallon sump beneath the 100 gallon with a fuge built in and I've always felt that the fuge was not getting the attention it needed, as well as the fact that it can be just as beautiful as the display tank. So I decided to cannibalize my 20g long nano into the 100g. This way i can display both tanks appropriately, this is gonna be great ;D

Sorry about the crappy photos I left my camera at the parents place a while back and I'm too eager to show it off as well as get some input on what i should put in it so these are the best I can do with an iPhone.

I want as much input on what I should put in this bad boy s id appreciate any opinions. I'm currently thinking tons of mangrove (50?) around the sides and back side to hide the algae thats going to grow where I cant get my magnetic scrubber. Many snails/hermits for detritus (20?) this tank seems to collect a lot of it, i may need help with how much flow should be in here. Tons of Macro but I'm not sure which to use...

    AWESOME!!!!

I SOOO want to do a 40 gal breeder fuge for our 120 - that's our plan at least.

As far as CUC in the fuge . . . do you plan on having liverock in there? If not, then there may be a number of people who will tell you not to put hermits and snails in there. If you are going sand and mangroves/macro only, then you will not have too much of a need for a CUC in the fuge - but that is just IMO.

Have you given any thought to housing some seahorses in there? I have also read that people have houses peppermint shrimp in fuges and they spawn with regularity, feeding the tank with planktonic shrimp fry!

Good luck and it looks great already!!!

and look into it further . . . but one of the most widely used macros is Cheato(sp?)

Never goes sexual and does an excellent job of transporting waste nutes' into its' tissue.

Hey thx for the input!. Ya Chaetto is going to be part of the party. I will have some rocks, just enuf for the back of the tank where i cant get a scrubber, so there will be some cuc but not much.

You know pepermint shrimp is a great idea, i do have aptasia to be counter attacked. added to the list!
