Well my plan was to get an acro, but I got talked into getting a large gbta for 40$. Just some things about my tank for those who dont know, I have a par38 LED, its been running for a year and 2 months, established for the past 10 months. I have a question though, there were two nems attached to the rock, so the employee had to rip part of it in half, i now have 2 nems one large one that seems to look good, and one baby thats all deflated. Will it recover or should i just take it out? (see pic)

Hmmmm. I would wait a little bit before taking it out. It could just be getting use to the new water. If it continues to do this for the next week or so i would go ahead and take it out so it doesnt destroy your tank.

Well I guess you were right it just had to get used to the tank, that pic was taken right after i put it in, after a quick acclimation, heres it 2 hours later. I appologize for the crappy pics, theres some calcerous algae growing on my glass.

BTAs can and will "reproduce" asexually by splitting. You can also divide one yourself by cutting it, so it should be ok. Just keep a close eye on it for a few days. :)

Whenever they want... really no way to predict that. :)

IMOPE, not all nems prefer the same flow rate or lighting; however, BTAs don't tend to roam as much as a Condy. Once it finds a suitable spot (if it does move) it will most likely stay there.

But does most of the moving tend to happen with first introduction if all other variables (lighting, flow, rearanging rockwork etc) stay the same?

Not necessarily... they're all still unpredictable in that respect. If a BTA doesn't move in a month or two, there's a better chance it might not. There's never a 100% guarantee, though.
