Well my gf has been keeping fresh water fish for alongggg time.she loved my tank so I said why don't we get you a tank and get you going. She finally broke down and said she wanted to do sea horses. Uh ohhhh lol.I convinced her to start with a reef tank just so she can get the basics down before getting alittle more advanced.she's had her 12g nano cube for less then a month its now full and she's looking to upgrade to a 29g.look what I did again :p.

Awesome :) My wife just bought a 28 nano to go along with the 55 & 46 bow! This hobby is a lot easier when you have a supportive spouse ;D

My wife is very supportive and understanding of my hobby. She draws the line at doing any of the tank maintainance though. ;-)

I guess women are really in the minority in this hobby. I remember visiting a LFS last spring. There was a drop dead gorgeous, very nicely dressed woman in the store. There was another guy wondering around, and I assumed that he was her husband/boyfriend and that she was just along for the ride.

It turned out that the guy was her boyfriend, and the woman was actually the one with a 200 gallon reef tank. The guy didn't know the first thing about salt water.

I remember the encounter vividly because she was one of the only things that has ever managed to distract me from the corals while I'm at the LFS. ;-)

She's learning fast.she's naming fish and corals left and right at the lfs.if I keep this up im gonna hafta start my own salt and rodi company lol there's now talks of going to a 55g.

I make all her water for her and in a 12g its not bad but she keeps this rate up and im gonna be screwed lol
